Gas Line Inspections

Gas Line Inspections

Radon Testing

Radon is a radioactive gas. It is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and chemically inert. Unless you test for it, there is no way of telling how much is present. Radon is formed by the natural radioactive decay of uranium in rock, soil, and water. Naturally existing, low levels of uranium occur widely in Earth’s crust. It can be found in all 50 states. Once produced, radon moves through the ground to the air above. Some remains below the surface and dissolves in water that collects and flows under the ground’s surface.

Water Testing

Water supplied by a private source is also usually safe to drink; however, it can be contaminated by harmful bacteria resulting from faulty septic tanks, chemicals from a toxic spill that occurred years before, leaking underground storage tanks, or pesticides and fertilizers. The only way to tell whether the water is safe is to have it tested. We can do several water tests from bacteria in water, FHA water tests and fracking water tests.

Maintenance Inspections

A maintenance inspection will help to prioritize a home improvement list, and to hopefully find out about small problems before they turn into big ones. In some cases, a maintenance inspection will reveal that what was thought to be a small problem has already turned into a big one.

Why a home inspection? A professional home inspection is your client’s best choice whether buying or selling. Your buyer needs to understand what he or she is purchasing to avoid costly surprises. They need as much information as possible to make wise decisions about their investment. As you represent the seller a home inspection is a powerful marketing tool to give you a competitive edge while allowing them to sell their home with confidence. No matter which side of the “For Sale” sign your client is on, a quality home inspection is peace of mind.
